Sinch is seeking a strategic and dynamic Communications Manager, APAC to lead and execute our corporate communications efforts across the Asia-Pacific region. This role will be instrumental in shaping and amplifying Sinch’s brand reputation, driving thought leadership, and ensuring consistent messaging across media, PR, internal communications, and digital channels. As a key member of the Sinch regional marketing team, you will collaborate closely with APAC sales, PR agency, and leadership teams, as well as the global marketing and PR teams, to craft compelling narratives tailored for diverse APAC audiences.


Key Responsibilities include:

Corporate Communications & PR

  • Develop and execute a regional communications strategy aligned with Sinch’s business objectives in APAC.
  • Lead media relations efforts on behalf of Sinch, securing coverage in top-tier tech, business, and telecom publications.
  • Collaborate with PR agencies to craft press releases, bylines, and thought leadership content that highlight Sinch’s innovations.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to continuously refine Sinch’s PR strategies.
  • Serve as a Sinch spokesperson when required and provide media training for Sinch executives.

Executive Communications

  • Build executive visibility by developing external communications strategies for APAC leadership, including media engagement, speaker opportunities, and social amplification.
  • Partner with the Executive Vice President for APAC and other senior leaders to develop compelling narratives that align with Sinch’s regional strategy and growth ambitions.
  • Create high-impact executive materials including speaking points, op-eds, keynote decks, and briefing documents for media interviews, industry forums, and customer events.
  • Manage executive social media presence and content, ensuring consistent, timely, and authentic engagement that reinforces thought leadership and brand credibility.

Internal Communications

  • Design and implement internal communication programs that keep Sinch employees in APAC informed, aligned, and connected to our strategic goals
  • Partner with HR and leadership to disseminate Sinch announcements, foster a strong company culture, and manage change communications.
  • Support change communications, employer branding, and employee engagement initiatives across multiple internal channels.

Content & Thought Leadership

  • Work closely with content marketing, global product marketing, and regional content creators or agency partners to support the development of compelling, high-impact content for APAC markets.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and spokespeople to shape regional thought leadership narratives that position Sinch as a leader in CPaaS and customer communications.
  • Oversee Sinch’s corporate and local social media channels across APAC, ensuring content is brand-aligned, market-relevant, and timely.
  • Support executive thought leadership programs across social and owned channels, ensuring high-quality, consistent messaging that elevates regional leadership.

Crisis & Reputation Management

  • Lead the development of proactive and reactive communications strategies to manage reputational risk and support business continuity.
  • Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to respond to issues swiftly and consistently, ensuring clear alignment across channels and teams.
  • Monitor media, industry, and regulatory landscapes to anticipate and prepare for potential reputational challenges.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with Sinch’s regional leadership, marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure a consistent communications strategy.
  • Engage with industry bodies, regulatory stakeholders, and key partners to reinforce Sinch’s positioning in the APAC market.

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Proven experience in corporate communications, PR, or a related field, preferably in B2B tech, SaaS, or CPaaS.
  • Demonstrated understanding of APAC media landscapes, cultural nuances, and market dynamics relevant to Sinch.
  • Proven expertise in media relations, content strategy, crisis management, and internal communications.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in an additional APAC languages is an advantage.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, global tech company, within CPaaS space is highly advantageous.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask across multiple projects.
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed organisation with global remote teams.
