Are you a passionate communicator eager to make a difference in the hearing industry? At GN Hearing, we believe in the power of sound to transform lives, and we’re looking for a dynamic Communication Manager to help amplify our message! 

In this pivotal role within our Communication and Community team, reporting to the Director of Communication and Community, you will oversee key communication areas, manage day-to-day press office activities, cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders, and lead our communication efforts in the Asia-Pacific region, working out of our Sydney office. 

The team you will be part of: 

We play a key role in communication at GN Hearing, connecting our commercial activities with internal and external audiences. Our mission is to keep our colleagues informed while building strong, long-lasting relationships with diverse external stakeholders. By collaborating across the group, we ensure our communication strategies align with our goals and values, fostering a cohesive environment within the broader hearing and media community. 

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will: 

  • Manage press office operations and media relations for accurate information dissemination. 

  • Build strong relationships with industry key opinion leaders to enhance visibility and credibility. 

  • Oversee online reviews and social media presence, ensuring consistent messaging. 

  • Tailor communication strategies for the Asia-Pacific region. 

  • Plan and execute internal and external announcements aligned with organizational objectives. 

  • Collaborate with leadership to support communication efforts and develop compelling content. 

  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication initiatives for continuous improvement. 
     

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. 

  • Proven experience in communication or public relations, preferably in healthcare or technology. 

  • Strong understanding of media relations and social media management. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. 

  • Dynamic, strong networker, and team player with a high degree of planning and organizing ability. 

  • Structured problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

  • Proficiency in English and fluency in an Asian language is a plus. 

Location and Travels 

This position is located in Sydney, Australia, or Ballerup/Copenhagen, Denmark, and requires the ability to travel (nationally and internationally)
