We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Analyst with Power BI skills to join our Asset Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and continuously improving Power BI visualisations across the Asset Management Business. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent data visualisation skills, and the ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure data-driven decision-making.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for all brands within the Asset Management brands
- Performing ad-hoc analysis, investigations and data management tasks as requested by the key stakeholders and incorporate into regular reporting as required.
- Ability to provide meaningful insights that drives business decisions
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualisations.
- Providing data management, data mining and analytical support to assist product development, customer and market segmentation and business process optimisation.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Continuously improve and expand Power BI solutions to meet evolving business needs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and industry trends.
- Perform data analysis and generate insights to support business decision-making.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and dashboards.
You will Bring:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Analyst in a similar role, with a strong proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data modelling.
- Reporting experience in financial services will be an advantage, as will experience in reporting on productivity measurement and sales funnel management
- Experience in collaborating with key stakeholders in financial reporting, to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualisation.
- SQL and other data analysis tools experience will be advantageous
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with large datasets and data warehousing concepts.
- Power Automate experience would be favourable but is not essential
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or relevant work history.
