Who we are

Healthcare needs a better rhythm: one that keeps care continuous and deeply human. Heidi is building an AI Care Partner that works alongside clinicians to make that possible.

We’re a team of doctors, engineers, designers, researchers, and creatives building tools that help clinicians stay focused on what matters most: their patients.

In just 18 months, Heidi has given back more than 18 million hours to healthcare professionals — supporting 73 million patient visits in 116 countries. Today, more than two million patient visits each week are powered by Heidi worldwide.

Backed by nearly $100 million in funding, we’re growing in the US, UK, Canada, and Europe, partnering with leading health systems including the NHS, Beth Israel Lahey Health, and Monash Health.

The role

We’re looking for a leader to manage our commercial team in Australia. You’ll manage a team of SDRs, BDRs and AEs across the full go-to-market funnel, from pipeline generation to complex deal execution, while shaping the strategy and culture of the commercial engine.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can coach, support and shepherd deals of all sizes, remove obstacles, think creatively, and build a performance culture that feels distinctly “Heidi”: bold, fast, curious and customer-obsessed.

What you’ll do

Team Leadership & Coaching
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of SDRs, BDRs and AEs across SMB, Mid-Market and Enterprise (non-hospital).

  • Run high-energy weekly rituals: pipeline reviews, forecasting, call coaching, outbound labs, and deal strategy sessions.

  • Build a team-wide culture of creativity, experimentation and 1% improvements — the “Heidi Way”.

  • Recruit, onboard and ramp new talent as we expand across Australia.

Sales Execution & Deal Support
  • Partner deeply with AEs to navigate and close small, medium and complex deals.

  • Step into deal cycles with executive presence, commercial rigour and the ability to unblock momentum.

  • Guide teams on pricing, competitive positioning and mutual success plans.

  • Maintain high forecasting accuracy and deliver predictable, compounding revenue growth.

Go-To-Market Strategy & Innovation
  • Continuously prosecute, refine and evolve our go-to-market strategy alongside the VP of Sales.

  • Identify and run strategic bets that create asymmetric upside. New motions, new segments, creative campaigns.

  • Partner with Product, Marketing, CS and RevOps to build the flywheel

  • Champion a data-led, insights-driven approach to prioritisation and account strategy.

What we’re looking for
  • An experienced sales leader (3+ years leadership preferred) across SMB/MM/Enterprise motions in SaaS.

  • Comfortable managing hybrid teams (SDR/BDR/AE) and building scalable, repeatable operating rhythms.

  • Set the tone for a high-performance, high-trust sales culture

  • Obsessed with customers and solving real problems for clinicians.

  • Energised by high growth, ambiguity and building something world-class from the ground up.

The Way We Work

1. Build to Last

We design for safety and reliability so clinicians, patients, and our teams can trust what we build every day.

2. Own Your Practice

Ideas rise on merit, not title, and everyone shares responsibility for the standards we set together.

3. Move Fast, Stay Steady

We move quickly but never at the cost of trust. Progress only matters if people can depend on what we make.

4. Make Others Better

Honest feedback, steady support, and shared growth keep our teams improving together.

Why you will flourish with us

  • Flexible hybrid working environment, with 3 days in the office.

  • A generous personal development budget of $500 per annum

  • Learn from some of the best engineers and creatives, joining a diverse team

  • Become an owner, with shares (equity) in the company, if Heidi wins, we all win

  • The rare chance to create a global impact as you immerse yourself in one of Australia’s leading healthtech startups

  • If you have an impact quickly, the opportunity to fast track your startup career!

Heidi is dedicated to creating an equitable, inclusive, and supportive work environment that brings people together from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Our strength is in our differences. We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer and welcome all applicants as we're committed to promoting a culture of opportunity for all.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
