About the role:

As our Commercial Strategy Lead, you'll be at the forefront of driving long-term growth across our builder, trade, and organisational customer segments; collectively our Commercial customers

Partnering closely with the senior Commercial Leadership teams, you'll craft and implement strategic plans that not only ensure the successful development of our commercial strategies but also open doors to exciting step-out opportunities.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for a commercially minded, customer-focused team member who excels in complexity and unites teams to drive long-term growth and deliver outstanding results.

What’s involved:

  • Lead the development of customer-centric commercial strategies that drive results

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure strategies are effectively implemented and operationalised 

  • Lead the Commercial voice in business-wide initiatives, ensuring our customers’ needs are front and centre

  • Support change management and communication plans ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new strategies

  • Continuously analyse internal data, market trends, and customer feedback to refine and evolve our approach

You’ll need:

  • Proven experience in strategy, commercial planning, or a related role

  • The capability to develop strategies, business cases and work cross functionally

  • Strategic business acumen, understanding of customer insights and the ability to develop business strategies

  • Financially minded and a high level of attention to detail with strong planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills

  • Experience mapping customer lifecycle journeys and identifying key opportunities

  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills

  • A tertiary qualification in commerce, business, or a related discipline
