As a Senior Data & Insights Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how insights are delivered, consumed, and embedded across Employment Hero. Reporting into the Data Analytics & Insights Manager and aligned to a specific business domain (e.g. GTM, CX, Product), you’ll partner closely with senior stakeholders to deliver trusted, actionable intelligence at speed - and help shape an AI-first future.

This is not a standard analytics role. You’ll act as a thought partner, storyteller, and insight product owner — delivering reusable, scalable solutions that drive impact across the business

The ideal candidate is a professional with a strong analytical foundation, boasting 5+ years of experience in data analytics, ideally within a SaaS environment. You hold a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Data Analytics, Business, or a related field and are proficient in SQL, and BI tools such as Tableau..

As a Senior Data & Insights Analyst, you’ll:

Strategic Insight Delivery

• Partner with cross-functional leads to identify high-impact opportunities
• Deliver strategic recommendations through analysis, storytelling, and advisory
• Build prompt-ready dashboards and automated insight layers that support both human and AI consumers
• Productise insights with reuse, consistency, and speed in mind

Self-Serve & Visualisation

• Design and build visualisation layers (Tableau) that enhance clarity, enable decision-making, and scale stakeholder autonomy
• Build self-serve tools using curated, governed datasets and prompt-friendly structures

AI-Enabled Execution

• Use GPTs and AI tools to augment insight delivery (e.g., summaries, annotations, trends)
• Develop prompt libraries, templates, and insight products for internal reuse

Foundational Excellence

• Collaborate with Data Platforms to ensure data models, metrics, and semantic layers are trusted, observable, and AI-ready
• Own and maintain documentation, business logic, and metric definitions for your domain

Stakeholder Engagement

• Translate ambiguous business questions into analytical briefs and structured solutions
• Evangelise a culture of self-service, insight reuse, and AI-literate decision-making
• Lead conversations on what’s possible — not just what’s been asked

• 5+ years in a data analytics or BI role, preferably in SaaS or tech
• Advanced SQL skills; able to query, analyse, and model large datasets
• Proven ability to translate data into clear, compelling insight narratives
• Expertise in data visualisation tools (preferably Tableau); dashboard design and UX best practices
• Experience working with GPTs, LLM tools, or AI workflows a strong plus
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making trade-offs in fast-paced environments
