The sales team at Cloudflare helps customers take on real, technical problems while building the revenue streams that help the company provide services to millions in our community.
About the Role
You will drive sales into the SMB and open space accounts across all verticals that have substantial requirements for Cloudflare solutions in Saudi Arabia. This will involve high channel partners engagement in the GTM strategy and selling motion expected from this role.
The selling activities will involve joint channel lead and pipeline generation activities to deliver on the required revenue and other role related business objectives. The successful candidate should demonstrate the capability to work with the extended teams, both internally involving cross-functional resources and externally involving channel and alliance partners.
The ideal candidate will possess sales experience in related Cybersecurity cloud based technology areas that enables them to drive engagement with decision makers within the channel community and the main end-user accounts. Prior experience selling into a similar role in Saudi Arabia is required for this role.
As a Senior Commercial Account Executive, you'll be responsible for developing and executing against a sales strategy/plan for the assigned territory to achieve revenue targets and other key objectives required from this role. Therefore, you must have an intuitive understanding and experience demonstrating the compelling value propositions for the different Cloudflare solutions.
Additional responsibilities will include
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline in collaboration with the channel network
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with the key partners
- Work closely and strategically with channel and alliances within the territory
- Engage the necessary resources within the extended team whenever required
- Accurate reporting and forecasting for the state of business within the assigned territory
Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience
- Fluent in both English and Arabic
- Proven sales experience with a track record of overachieving targets
- Relationships with key decision makers within the channel community in Saudi Arabia
- 10+ years of technology selling experience with at least 5 years in a similar role in Saudi Arabia
- 5+ years experience working for a cybersecurity vendor in related technologies
- Develop and maintain a strong healthy relationship with the channel partners and the key accounts within the assigned territory, positioning Cloudflare as their trusted advisor and go-to provider for future requirements
- Develop the necessary pipeline to deliver on the assigned targets and objectives
- Computer engineering or computer science degree or a similar related field of study
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work and excel in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Highly experienced working with Salesforce and BI tools
- Full knowledge of the competition landscape and market trends in the assigned territory
