About the Role
The Chief of Staff will be a key partner to the Country Manager of Podium Australia, playing a pivotal role in driving sales initiatives, operational efficiency, and revenue growth. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of sales performance, go-to-market strategies, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will work closely with sales leadership, marketing, customer success, and operations teams to optimise processes, drive efficiency, and ensure the execution of high-impact initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic advisor and right-hand to the Country Manager, ensuring alignment on key priorities and initiatives.
  • Lead and support sales initiatives that drive revenue growth, including pipeline management, forecasting, and sales enablement strategies.
  • Partner with sales leadership to refine and optimise sales processes, identifying opportunities to improve conversion rates and accelerate deal velocity.
  • Drive operational excellence by implementing scalable processes and best practices to support the sales organisation.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop data-driven strategies for customer acquisition, retention, and expansion.
  • Support financial planning and budgeting efforts, ensuring sales initiatives align with business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Own and track key business metrics, providing insights and recommendations to enhance sales performance.
  • Act as a liaison between the Australian team and global Podium leadership, ensuring clear communication and alignment on business priorities.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across departments, ensuring initiatives are executed effectively and efficiently.
  • Lead special projects and initiatives that support Podium’s growth and expansion in Australia.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in a strategy, Chief of Staff, sales operations, or revenue-focused role, preferably within a high-growth SaaS or technology company.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, go-to-market strategies, and revenue operations.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving operational efficiency, and executing strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive business decisions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align teams.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for solving complex business challenges and driving impact.
