The Corporate and Investment Bank Chief Data Office is tasked with establishing a top-tier data management strategy across the firm. The role involves joining a global team to support data privacy, protection, and storage in line with regulatory standards. Candidates should have expertise in data governance, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder management, along with strong leadership skills. This position requires collaboration with stakeholders across various regions and sectors, offering a dynamic and challenging work environment.
As a Data Management Associate Sr. within the Corporate and Investment Bank Chief Data Office Privacy, Protection & Storage team, you will lead the development and implementation of data localization governance frameworks and policies. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Controls, Regional Chief Data Officers, Line of Business/Corporate Function Business Chief Data Officers, and Technology partners. You will oversee access management processes to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and prepare monthly management reports to provide insights to senior leadership. You will promote and participate in projects related to data governance controls and collaborate with multiple sub-lines of business and Corporate Functions to support data storage and localization objectives.

Job responsibilities
- Leading development and implementation of data localisation governance frameworks and policies.
- Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders across Controls, Regional CDOs, LOB/CF Business CDOs, Technology partners
- Overseeing access management processes to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Preparing monthly management reports and providing insights to senior leadership.
- Driving and participating in projects related to data governance controls
- Collaborating with multiple sub-lines of business and Corporate Functions to support data storage and localisation objectives
Required qualification, capabilities & skills
- 7+ years experience in Financial Services with strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to data storage and localisation.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business, technology, and control functions.
- Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships
- Ability to coordinate issues, findings and practices with colleagues across regions and/or divisions
- Ability to work independently and prioritize all work assignments effectively to ensure timely completion
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present information in differing degrees of detail and form depending on the audience
- Investigative mindset, strong analytical, problem solving, and process re-engineering skills and experience using data mining tools
- Excellent Excel, and SharePoint skills

- People management experience is preferable
