We are seeking a highly skilled Chapter Lead to join our fast-paced team. As a Chapter Lead, you will also be the Technology lead driving the technical direction in the team. You’ll be providing expert advice relating to technology, solution design and architecture, people leadership and driving excellence in technical delivery as per group engineering practices and standards.
You will bring a perfect blend of people management, technical expertise and will be responsible for shaping the evolution of the chapter through contribution to the technology strategy, quarterly crew planning, prioritise backlog, define delivery roadmap, and determine which problems to invest in solving. You will also play a key role in implementation of best practices and reusable patterns and endorse new designs and patterns for wider usage.
You will work closely with the Product Owner to leverage Oracle EPM to drive performance management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a passion for driving security and IT resilience.

You will be leading the Chapter of Engineers for the Enterprise Performance Management Chapter (EPM). you will actively contribute to the products and services we deliver from architecture, technical design and coding to deployment to operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Build, lead, and inspire an engaged team of engineers while also fostering an engineering culture of excellence.
Lead, develop and operate SaaS services with security by design as a full-cycle engineer
Effectively communicate engineering practice standards and consistent ways of working across squads and CBA that align to global best practice.
Promote open communication and creates a safe working environment where our engineers’ voices are heard to achieve great outcomes for our organisation, our customers, and the community.
Drive operational excellence and supports teams in charge of mission-critical production services with diverse stakeholders and complex dependencies.
Encourage risk-taking and constructive challenge while growing diverse and inclusive teams.
Establish new ways of working, successfully advocated for new technology approaches, with the experience to understand the architectural integration of new software Contribute to the strategic engineering goals within own team / platform

Technical Skills:
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team;
Extensive experience in enterprise-level engineering.
Have a proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams
Have strong capability and experience in building operating SaaS solution around Finance such as Oracle EPM, Peoplesoft, SAP Financials etc
Soft skills: Excellent communication skills. Working experience with Agile methodologies.
CI/CD: expertise with usage and configuration of fully automated pipelines is useful. This includes GitHub Actions, Artifactory and Azure DevOps.
DevOps: Familiarity with DevOps-managed environments. Specifically, around observability tools (Splunk, Grafana, Promethius, PagerDuty)
Test Automation: Unit/Integration/Acceptance/Performance testing experience in API.
Security: Defence in depth, including identity management, encryption and public cloud security obligations
Databases: Relational databases (e.g. Postgres / Oracle), as well as data warehousing and No-SQL databases (MongoDB).
Language orientation: Experience on C#, .NET Framework Core, essential. SOAP/REST APIs, Microservices and containerisation a plus. Node, Python and scripting knowledge useful
Familiarity in event-driven architectures (Kafka, MQ) and orchestration (Apache Camel, Temporal, Mulesoft)
