Job Summary
We are seeking a Certification Developer with extensive experience in the high-stakes credentialing industry to create and maintain certifications for the Atlassian Certification Program. In this position, you will work closely with the Atlassian Community & Learning team on diverse projects that align with our vision of enhancing product adoption while delivering significant value and career growth opportunities for our learners.
What you'll do
- Lead efforts to design, develop, and maintain high-stakes certification exams for Atlassian roles, products, and solutions.
- Facilitate job task analysis workshops, curate exam blueprints, conduct item writing workshops, exam form creation, and other certification development tasks.
- Train and manage subject matter experts in all phases of exam development and maintenance.
- Assist in developing additional certification materials, including exam guides, certification web pages, sample test items, and guided exam prep journeys.
- Establish strong working relationships with cross-functional teams across Community, Learning, product, and more.
Your background
- You have at least 3 to 5 years of experience developing and maintaining high-stakes certifications.
- Experience within the tech industry.
- English fluency is required. Fluency in Spanish and Portuguese is a plus.
- You have experience in data-driven decision making. An understanding of psychometric analysis is a plus.
- You have experience with Atlassian apps (like Jira, Confluence). If you have admin experience with them, it's a significant advantage.
- You are technically savvy, and stay up to date on technical trends.
- You have experience utilizing generative AI to create content.
- You are comfortable using different forms of testing and item bank software.
- You have experience in coaching and mentoring subject matter experts, guiding them to evolve into outstanding exam developers.
- You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- You are innovative, creative, and like to experiment.
- You are highly skilled in project facilitation.
- You possess the ability to work autonomously and tackle challenges effectively.
- You are enthusiastic about proposing solutions to enhance both the exam development process and the candidate experience.
