Since 2019, EML has run a dedicated CTP project team to manage complex claims. The team conducts expert reviews to assess entitlements for medical and like benefits, helping people recover, regain independence, and return to meaningful life.

We’re now expanding our focus to include return-to-work outcomes, supporting people to get back on track and reach their potential.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about helping people rebuild their lives after injury. If you have experience in recovery or return-to-work support and enjoy seeing real results, this role is highly rewarding. You’ll also help improve claims management practices and drive meaningful improvements across the scheme.

This will be a full time, permanent position based in any of our major offices in Australia, with flexibility to work from home for up to 3 days per week.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overseeing a cohort of TAC claims

  • Proactively and strategically manage the requirements of the portfolio to progress return to work strategies and supports

  • Engage healthcare providers with a view to influencing best practice treatment within scheme guidelines/legislation

  • Review claims with medical & like treatment with the objective of reviewing this treatment with the intent to actively challenge its reasonableness

  • Delivery of customer service requirements and regular contact with all stakeholders

  • Pro-actively and effectively manage claims within the TAC legislation and to assist the injured person through the process

  • Provide insights and opportunities to improve TAC claims management practices and capability

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience in managing claims with a return-to-work goal

  • Previous allied health background would be advantageous but not essential

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Effective communication and conflict resolution skills

  • Negotiation and influencing
