Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor and manipulate the server farm behind ServiceNow cloud
- Work directly on or with the servers to enable and optimize capacity utilization for the ServiceNow customer base
- Enhance processes and tools necessary to simplify and provide consistent project execution
- Provide proactive management and innovation to ensure 100% success of ServiceNow cloud automation
Qualifications
Required
- Experience using the ServiceNow platform
- Understanding of SQL and database concepts
- DNS,DHCP and PXE boot
- Intermediate to advance network troubleshooting
- Experience in one (or more) scripting languages- JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Power Shell
- Experience in incident, problem, change management, knowledge-base management, defect & escalation management
- Team collaboration and fit is essential
- Basic understanding of enterprise class server hardware
- Experience in deploying bare metal servers
- Someone with Australian citizenship (preferably with Baseline Clearance)
Preferred
- 2+ years providing customer facing technical support (Web based products or e-commerce preferred)
- Basic understanding of ServiceNow asset management
- Storage configuration concepts, configuration, and experience
- Puppet understanding and configuration management
- Coding in various languages, we usually prefer Unix Shell, Python, C, C++ or JavaScript
- Ability to work in shifts or do on-call
- Monitoring of large and scalable systems, applications and networks
- Minimum Requirements
- University graduate with a Computer Science degree or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills are essential.
