Let's Talk About the Role:

Supervise & Lead: Manage and mentor a team of CAM Programmers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, accurately, and safely.
Manufacturing Strategy: Collaborate with the Manufacturing Manager and CNC Supervisor to develop and execute programming strategies for our 3 and 5-axis milling machines, CMM, and other CNC processes.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements, working towards cost reductions and improved manufacturing efficiency.
Schedule Management: Oversee programming task schedules, manage work orders, and ensure timely project completion to meet CNC start targets.
Collaboration: Work closely with the CNC Team Lead and Tool Design Manager to define project requirements and optimize manufacturing strategies for new tooling projects.
Quality & Safety: Ensure all programming and machining processes adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Team Development: Promote a cross-skilled and adaptable workforce, encouraging continuous development and collaboration within the team.
Recruitment & Growth: Assist the Manufacturing Manager in recruiting new CAM Programmers to support team growth and future project needs.
