The Opportunity
To help support recent project wins, we are looking for a cadet drafter to join the team in Melbourne. You will be supported and mentored by a fantastic team and work alongside industry specialists. The role will involve setting up drawings and basic 3D models using CAD software, extracting information from engineering specifications, standards and supplier literature to apply to drafting tasks as well as general support for senior designers and engineers.

You will work in multidisciplinary teams which will enable you to develop a good understanding of the engineering workflow process. This is predominantly an office based role however you may undertake some site visits to assist with field data acquisition (photos, laser scanning and measurements).

Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in practical applications of technology in society who is a good team player also with the ability to work effectively independently. Vocational training via TAFE or other tertiary institutions (Cert IV or Diploma level in Building/Engineering Design and Drafting or similar). Training to introductory level in a 3D CAD software application like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, 12d, Revit, Microstation
