As a key member of JPMorgan Workplace Solutions Japan, you will report directly to the Head of Japan, Workplace Solutions, and play a crucial role in business development and operations. Collaborate globally across the US, EMEA, and APAC, and lead new business initiatives requiring regulatory licensing in Japan.

Job Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a new equity compensation solution business, requiring JFSA registration.
- Serve as the primary onsite liaison for internal and external partners.
- Lead daily operations and manage the regulated entity's functionality and compliance.
- Assume onsite management responsibilities, collaborating with internal partners.
- Enhance internal controls to meet regulatory requirements.
- Drive key processes in strategic changes and new initiatives.
- Foster collaborative partnerships and a culture of respectful communication.
- Adapt to changes in assignment as dictated by business strategy and/or priority.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- At least 10 years of experience in financial institutions or regulators in Japan.
- Expertise in financial regulations, particularly retail securities brokerage.
- Understanding of JGAAP and local financial reporting requirements.
- Exceptional communication skills in Japanese (native) and English (business level).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and proactive team collaboration.
- Proven change leadership in a matrix organization.
- Detail-oriented with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- JSDA's Securities Sales Representative 1 or 2.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- JSDA's Securities Sales Representative qualification is highly desirable.
