Job DescriptionThe Business Insights Lead is pivotal in transforming data into a strategic asset for the organisation. This role spearheads the Periscope project, delivering the analytics and insights required to empower data-driven decision-making at every level. By aligning business intelligence initiatives with core strategic objectives, the lead will ensure our reporting and dashboards provide the clarity needed to drive business growth, enhance operational transparency, and improve performance. A key focus will be surfacing actionable insights from complex data and identifying data quality issues, which directly influences key financial metrics such as billability, revenue, and gross margin.
The successful candidate will hold end-to-end responsibility for the BI project lifecycle, from initial scoping and prioritisation through to the execution and delivery of measurable outcomes. This involves translating organisational goals into an impactful BI roadmap and leading the Periscope team to bring that vision to life. A critical aspect of the role is acting as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and the BI team, building trusted relationships to ensure that analytical outputs are relevant, understood, and effectively actioned. Ultimately, this position champions a culture of evidence-based decision-making, driving transparency and accountability by delivering insights the business can rely on. Throughout these responsibilities, the Business Insights Lead operates with the strategic guidance and support of the Business Operations Lead.
