About This Role:

As part of our continued success and growth, Forrester is looking for a new-revenue development representative to fuel further expansion in the Australia & New Zealand region. As a critical member of new-business sales team, the Revenue Development Representative reports to the business development director and works with account executives to identify opportunities within named prospects and within a tightly defined sales process to ensure consistent, unified approach to selling Forrester services. This position entails working in a high-volume activity environment and requires strong organizational capabilities, attention to detail, creativity, and a desire to work as part of a team. Success in this position involves self-motivation and a track record of overachievement.

Job Description:

  • Partner with account executives. Identify new opportunities within assigned territory and set up meetings with C-level prospects.

  • Achieve weekly, quarterly, and annual meetings and opportunity targets.

  • Leverage all available channels (phone, email, social, etc.) to engage with prospects and outline Forrester’s unique value proposition.

  • Research key accounts and prospects to understand their goals, objectives, and organizational structures. Use this insight to strategize on how to engage with prospects and nurture relationships.

  • Work with the marketing team to drive engagement with key events and convert inbound leads into opportunities.

  • Understand the changing business and technology issues facing our client and prospect base.

  • Ensure all CRM task records are up to date at any given time.

Job Requirements:

  • A BS or BA degree or equivalent experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, establish, and nurture meaningful business relationships remotely via email and over the phone.

  • Effective organization and time management skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
