We're growing our presence in Australia and seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead strategic expansion across key industries such as Energy, Aerospace & Defense, Manufacturing, and Engineering Services.
Position Summary:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities in Australia. You'll focus on enterprise clients and mid-market accounts, leveraging Accuris' product portfolio to deliver business value and build long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, networking, and market analysis.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Accuris' solutions and articulate their value to decision-makers (C-suite, Engineering Heads, Procurement Leaders, etc.).
  • Manage the complete sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, solution positioning, negotiation, and closing.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to align strategies, drive growth, and ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Create and execute territory/account plans to achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and CRM updates (Salesforce or equivalent).
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings as needed to promote the brand and identify new leads.
  • Report to the Regional Sales Director and contribute to APAC strategy.

Requirements:
Must-Haves:
  • 5-8+ years of B2B sales experience, with a proven track record in enterprise software, SaaS, data intelligence, or technical solutions.
  • Experience selling to sectors like Energy, Manufacturing, Aerospace & Defense, or Engineering Services.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a hybrid or remote environment.
  • Valid Australian work authorization and ability to travel as needed.

Nice-to-Haves:
  • Prior experience working with technical data, compliance tools, or engineering information systems.
  • Familiarity with sales tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
