We have a newly created opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our team based in Scoresby, VIC. Reporting to the Head of Key Accounts & Business Development, you will join a team of passionate Sales Professionals with a focus on growing our sales revenue within the Australian forklift market in Victoria. We’re looking for someone with a background in sales, understands the importance of customer service and is looking to grow their sales career under the guidance and support from our team.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Your responsibilities:

  • Identify new and potential clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network.

  • Develop opportunities in both Retail and Key Account customers in VIC.

  • Provide support to our Sales Team with opportunities.

  • Research and maintain relationships with all clients on a consistent basis.

  • Update and maintain administrative responsibilities on applicable CRM system.

  • Assist in the development of proposals / solutions for client needs and requirements.

  • Attend relevant industry related events or exhibitions.

Requirements for success:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Business Development or Sales role.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skils with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.

  • Ability to prioritise multiple projects and work autonomously.
