In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Drive sales growth and market penetration of Emerson’s backflow prevention product portfolio across ANZ.
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with channel partners, agents, consultants, end users, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, product demonstrations, and industry event participation.
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities to support profitable business expansion.
  • Develop and execute strategic growth initiatives across sales, marketing, pricing, inventory planning, and customer engagement.
  • Champion new product launches and market adoption initiatives.
  • Deliver technical product and application training for sales teams, channel partners, industry bodies, and customers.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, operations, customer care, and sales teams to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to support business decisions and product development.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and support Emerson’s sustainability and decarbonisation initiatives.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Experience developing business opportunities and driving sales growth within technical or industrial markets.
  • Strong knowledge of water industry applications, infrastructure, or related product solutions.
  • Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with customers, channel partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
  • Strong influencing, collaboration, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to analyse market information and translate insights into actionable growth strategies.
  • Willingness to travel as required across the ANZ region.
  • Commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement. 

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Experience with backflow prevention valves or related water infrastructure products.
  • Knowledge of Australian and New Zealand standards related to backflow prevention products and installations.
  • Experience providing technical product training or education programs.
  • Familiarity with distribution networks, channel partner management, and specification selling.
  • Understanding of SAP or similar enterprise business systems.
  • Experience working within industrial, infrastructure, utilities, water, or process industries.
