We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth within our Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) division. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities with restaurant operators, franchise groups, and emerging QSR brands across Australia and New Zealand.

As a Business Development Manager, you'll help our customers overcome these challenges by introducing innovative Ecolab solutions that improve operational performance, enhance food safety, protect brand reputation, and drive business success.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, creating new opportunities, and delivering measurable value to customers.

This role will include travel with overnight stays.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within the Quick Service Restaurant segment.

  • Develop relationships with restaurant operators, franchisees, franchise groups, and key decision-makers.

  • Build a strong pipeline through strategic territory planning and proactive business development activity.

  • Partner with customers to understand operational challenges and recommend tailored solutions across food safety, sanitation, cleaning and kitchen operations.

  • Collaborate with field sales, technical specialists, and marketing teams to deliver compelling customer proposals.

  • Conduct business reviews, presentations, and commercial negotiations with key stakeholders.

  • Drive sustainable revenue growth while consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.

  • Represent Ecolab as a trusted advisor and strategic partner within the restaurant industry.

What You Bring:

We're looking for a motivated, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for winning new business.

Required:

  • Proven success in business development, B2B sales, or account acquisition roles.

  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, negotiate effectively, and close new business.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Self-motivation, resilience, and a results-driven mindset.

  • Ability to manage a sales territory and maintain a strong pipeline.

Preferred:

  • Experience selling into the Quick Service Restaurant, Foodservice, Hospitality, Retail Food, or Franchise sectors.

  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, cleaning and sanitation programs, or related operational solutions.

  • Experience working with multi-site operators or franchise businesses.
