Make your mark in Client & Broker Engagement

Our Client and Broker Engagement (CBE) team manages AIG’s major client relationships across all product lines, as well as driving new business activity. The team serves major clients and broker partners through an elevated, personalized experience – our client-centric framework drives a consistent experience and best practice, while allowing flexibility to meet the client’s needs.

 

How you will create an impact

You will create an impact through fostering relationships within our broking network to develop growth opportunities. Working alongside an experienced team of insurance professionals who you will learn from and who equally will leverage your sales & strategic expertise. Our Client & Broker Engagement function is an important stakeholder in unlocking the true value of AIG and realising our growth aspirations in Australia.

 

Key accountabilities will include but not limited to:

  • Business strategy: Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve financial and strategic objectives including go to market strategies.

  • Stakeholder management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including partners, clients, and other teams.

  • Sales and growth: Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities, managing client relationships, and closing deals.

  • Reporting and analysis: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and business development metrics to measure success.

  • Proven & demonstrable strong service culture

 

What you’ll need to succeed

  • CRM proficiency: Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools is required, namely Salesforce & Power BI.

  • Strategic thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans for growth.

  • Relationship building: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

  • Deal management: Experience in managing complex accounts including Expression of Interest and Response for Proposal requests.

  • Market knowledge: Understanding of the intermediated Australian insurance market and a proven ability to drive business development initiatives within it. Proven experience with Steadfast & AUB brokers.
