Why you'll love this opportunity

We're hiring for a growth-focused role within Civica’s Local Government & Housing business, with a strong emphasis on our Enterprise Platform Solutions. This position will play a key part in identifying and securing new business opportunities, particularly within the Local Government and Social Housing sectors. 

You’ll be focused on understanding each customer’s priorities and sector-specific challenges, building trusted relationships with key stakeholders, and positioning Civica’s solutions to deliver real value. Working closely with internal teams and executive sponsors, you'll play a strategic role in shaping deals early in the sales cycle and driving them through to a successful close. 

This is a great opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of Civica by helping our customers achieve their goals, while driving significant revenue and margin growth across the business. 


Requirements

What you'll do to be successful in the role

  • Strong communication and presentation skills 
  • Experience selling complex software solutions, particularly to local government and social/community housing sectors 
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding KPIs, including pipeline metrics, opportunity coverage, wallet share, and acquisition targets 
  • Skilled in leading virtual bid teams to coordinate effective and efficient proposal responses 
  • Proficient in managing sales pipelines, forecasts, and opportunities using Salesforce 
  • Strategic sales planning with a focus on driving tangible results 
  • Proven track record in customer relationship building and software sales 
  • Strong networking capabilities, with the ability to build and leverage professional relationships 
  • Comfortable with cold calling and proactive outreach to generate new business opportunities 
  • Hunter mentality, with a persistent and determined approach to identifying and closing new deals
