Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the technical sales function in Japan Region to support established accounts, to develop new customers and to increase the level of new business development in the region and total sales revenue year on year.
- Work closely with TTM Global Market Segment leadership to implement successful sales strategies in Japan region
- Interact with Business Units for quotation, new product development activities including market research & development, competitive analysis and product & site qualifications.
- Formulate and establish quarterly and annual sales & promotion forecast/activities planning
- Develop & strengthen customer relationships by personal visits to their sites (travel required)
Requirements:
- 10 to 15 years relevant working experience with PCB knowledge
- Native level speaking, reading and writing skills in Japanese
- Business level speaking, reading and writing skills in English
- Strong business management skills.
- Results driven; a sales management executive eager to be measured on performance
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong skills in business development, win/win negotiations, contract negotiations, communication and teamwork are all critical
- Strong skills and abilities in conflict resolution, influencing individuals over which you have no direct authority, and developing complex account strategies is critical
- High degree of computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Engineering related knowledge in PCB and Electronics industry or strong knowledge of EMS industry and customer’s industry is preferable

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
