About the Role:  
  

As a Business Development Manager, you will support the growth and expansion of the Fortinet business at Ingram Micro.  You will work closely with the vendor and the wider Ingram Micro team to generate new Resellers and Managed Service Providers for Fortinet, and create additional growth opportunities within those resellers  

Providing an exceptional level of commitment to customer service and supplying customers with quality engagement and solutions, along with collaborating with other specialised sales and technical associates within the Ingram Micro business, is key.  

  
  
Key Responsibilities:  

  • Meet and exceed revenue and sales targets to support the company's growth objectives.  

  • Regularly engage with partners to expand our product portfolio and build strong, enduring relationships with both existing and new partners.  

  • Effectively manage and nurture the relationship between Ingram Micro and Fortinet

  • Collaborate closely with the Vendor Manager to ensure the achievement of margin and revenue targets.  

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that sales revenue and profitability metrics are met.  

  • Assist in executing quarterly marketing plans and work hand in hand with the Ingram Micro sales team to maximise brand visibility.  

  • Collaborate with the Vendor Manager and support associates to ensure the continued success of the portfolio.  

  • Provide timely and accurate reporting and forecasting to help guide decision-making.  

  

Qualifications and Skills:  

  • Previous experience in the cybersecurity and distribution industry is preferable  

  • The ability to develop solid relationships with existing resellers and bring on new customers to drive growth  

  • Experience and knowledge of the Enterprise Software market will be an advantage  

  • Experience with Fortinet will be highly advantageous  

  • The ability to plan and implement development plans and business strategies  

  • Ability to take ownership and operate autonomously
