Contractors and surveyors are embracing smarter, faster ways of working to boost productivity, reduce rework, and fully digitise their workflows - all while enhancing accuracy and confidence in their data.

We are looking for a high-performance Business Development Manager to grow adoption of our mobile LiDAR and autonomy solutions across the APAC AEC market. This role exists to win new enterprise accounts, expand strategic customers, and drive sustained regional growth. If you’ve sold technical hardware into construction, survey, or geospatial markets, and you want to own a real territory with real impact then read on.

What You’ll Own

  • Full-cycle revenue responsibility across the AEC segment in APAC
  • New logo acquisition and expansion within strategic accounts
  • Territory planning and pipeline development
  • Enterprise-level deal execution across multi-stakeholder buying groups
  • Long-term growth of hardware + software revenue

Your Sales Motion

  • Prospect and build a robust pipeline within survey firms, contractors, digital engineering teams, and asset owners
  • Run structured discovery to diagnose current reality capture workflows (Scan-to-BIM, progress capture, as-builts, asset documentation)
  • Quantify value and build ROI cases
  • Lead field and office-based product demonstrations with the technical sales team
  • Navigate complex enterprise buying processes from site teams through to C-suite
  • Drive land-and-expand strategies within key accounts
  • Maintain strong forecasting discipline and CRM hygiene

What you bring

  • 5+ years of quota-carrying sales or business development experience in a technical industry
  • Experience selling into AEC, geospatial, survey, or infrastructure markets
  • Strong consultative selling capability
  • Proven ability to lead multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Comfort presenting technical solutions to both site personnel and executives
  • Strong forecasting and territory planning discipline
  • Ability to travel across Australia / New Zealand

  • Highly regarded
  • Experience selling surveying, laser scanning, GNSS, photogrammetry, robotics, or digital construction technologies
  • Exposure to Scan-to-BIM or digital twin workflows
