Business Development Executive – Hospital VIC/TAS

This role will accelerate growth of Advanced Wound Management (AWM) products in the Hospital
channel by managing strategic Hospital accounts.
What will you be doing?
- Achieve sales targets within assigned regions.
- Review territory plans regularly with Line Manager.
- Establish sales tactics that are strategically aligned to achieve territory sales
and profit growth targets. - Ensure that all territory planning activities help drive the correct actions to
maximize the return on investment. - Be fully conversant with assigned products through ongoing study and revision of product literature.
- Monitor territory sales progression to targets and initiate corrective action
where appropriate. - Actively participate at all scheduled sales and team huddle meetings.
- Provide support to team colleagues through sharing information, problem
solving, contributing innovative ideas, and offering constructive opinions –
leading to improved individual and team effectiveness. - Be fully conversant with and ensure everyone embraces the Smith+Nephew’s
vision, mission, and values in all day-to-day action. - OH&S - Complies with the company’s occupational health and safety system
and maintain a safe and secure working environment. - EEO - Ensure personal compliance of the Company’s equal employment
responsibilities.
What will you need to be successful?
- Bachelor’s Degree or similar in Business and a valid driver’s license
- Strong Sales experience in medical sales
- Proven experience in working and presenting to all levels of Public and Private Hospitals.
- In depth knowledge of the healthcare industry in Australia, working knowledge of wound care or related area.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office and SalesForce.com
- Ability to interpret and present clinical data.
