Job Description

The Business Development Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the effective operation of EVSE Australia’s business development activities, by coordinating sales activity, managing CRM data, qualifying opportunities, and ensuring a high standard of client engagement and pipeline hygiene.

Your Key Accountabilities: 
Sales & Client Activity

  • Coordinate and schedule discovery meetings with B2B clients, site owners, and key stakeholders
  • Conduct initial qualification of inbound and outbound leads
  • Support the progression of opportunities to Qualified-to-Buy and Deal-Won stage
  • Assist Business Development Managers with follow-ups, proposals, and client communications

Pipeline & CRM Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within HubSpot CRM
  • Ensure all opportunities are regularly updated with correct follow-up actions, close dates, and deal information
  • Monitor pipeline hygiene and identify outdated or stalled opportunities
  • Support preparation of sales reports and dashboards as required

Client Communication & Retention

  • Respond to client enquiries within agreed response timeframes
  • Conduct regular client check-ins to support retention and repeat business
  • Coordinate internal handovers between sales, projects, and operations teams

Administration & Support

  • Provide administrative support to the sales team as required
  • Maintain professional documentation and correspondence
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes and systems

Qualifications

  • Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience in a sales support, customer service, coordination, or business development role (desirable)
  • Exposure to B2B environments and CRM systems preferred
  • Experience working with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms advantageous
  • Commitment to providing a high level of service across written, phone, and face-to-face channels
  • High level of accuracy in CRM data, reporting, and written communication
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
