As a Business Development Associate, who embodies our passion for growth and transformation you will be part of a team that is key to our strategic expansion, you will report directly to the Partnerships Team Lead, immersing yourself in the intricacies of the market.

What will you do…
As a Business Development Associate, you will drive new sales and account expansion, positioning Homage as a trusted brokered supplier of Support Workers and Nurses. You will identify new opportunities, build strong provider relationships, and ensure a seamless onboarding and partnership experience.
Key Focus Areas:
- New Business Growth (Sales & Lead Generation)
- Identify new aged care and NDIS providers and establish relationships with decision-makers.
- Build a strong sales pipeline with a target of 10+ new qualified opportunities per month.
- Conduct presentations and pitches to showcase Homage’s value proposition.
- Negotiate and close service agreements, ensuring seamless onboarding.
- Track all sales activities via CRM, ensuring visibility and reporting.
- Onboarding & Account Activation
- Oversee end-to-end onboarding journey, ensuring providers are trained and supported.
- Facilitate tech integration and platform training for new partners.
- Conduct monthly training sessions for newly onboarded providers.
- Key Account Management & Retention
- Maintain regular touchpoints with existing partners to deepen relationships.
- Proactively identify operational challenges and provide strategic solutions.
- Support incident management education, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Strengthen Homage’s positioning as a Preferred Supplier in the provider network.
- Drive improvement in product and technology platform through structured, proactive feedback loops between clients and the Homage technology team.
- Solution Development & Partner Operations
- Define care and service workflows & SLAs with partners to ensure service quality and alignment.
- Manage partner and stakeholder relationships during high-severity incidents, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
- Work closely with Service Coordinators and Operations teams to ensure high service fulfilment, proactive problem-solving, and mitigation of operational issues.
- Market Strategy & Industry Insights
- Monitor upcoming changes in the Aged Care sector, including the Support at Home reforms in 2025 and 2026.
- Track mergers, acquisitions, and industry trends to anticipate market shifts.
- Build relationships with key industry stakeholders and advocacy groups.
- Develop market-entry strategies for targeted provider segments
Skills you will need…
While none of the tools are mandatory, we value candidates who are tech-savvy and demonstrate a willingness to learn. Familiarity with the following tools will be advantageous:
- 1-3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management (Aged Care, Healthcare, or NDIS preferred).
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to navigate long sales cycles and provider decision-making structures.
- A consultative selling approach, with the ability to map out stakeholder needs and tailor solutions.
- High adaptability, comfortable working in a fast-growing, tech-enabled environment.
- Solid understanding of aged care funding models, including HCP, CHSP, Support at Home, and NDIS.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and data-driven reporting.
