Location: Melbourne (Hybrid)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our team in the Yarra Falls office. In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders to elicit and document requirements, collaborate with the development team to design and implement changes to the Order Routing Management System (ORMS) application, work closely with cross‑functional development and support teams, and effectively manage stakeholder expectations.

In this role you will work closely with cross‑functional teams to analyze requirements, design effective solutions, and ensure strong alignment between business needs and technical delivery. You will also contribute to improving the way we work, strengthening quality, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and helping ensure seamless experience for both internal stakeholders and end users.

Some key responsibilities:

  • Consistently deliver high‑quality solutions in a timely manner that align with business expectations

  • Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional business, development, and support teams while managing stakeholder expectations.

  • Adhere to all relevant processes, checklists, and standards to minimise the risk of Audit and Security findings.

  • Recommend improvements to existing processes and contribute to the creation of new ones to enhance quality and efficiency.

  • Assist in triaging and resolving production issues in a timely and effective manner.

  • Make regular contributions to the team knowledge base, product wikis, and support documentation.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams to support the timely delivery of IT software solutions aligned to agreed priorities.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Demonstrated experience working across both Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies. 
  • Strong hands-on proficiency with SQL Server. 
  • Proven experience in UI design and implementation. 

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and practical experience working in Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.

  • Understanding of Windows and Web-based UX principles. 
  • Knowledge of stock markets and trading systems.
