We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Core Retail Tech Delivery team. In this role, you’ll work closely with merchant, supply chain and integration teams, partnering across Technology, Digital and Data & Analytics.
You’ll support major tech transformation projects by analysing processes and systems, identifying business and customer needs, and helping deliver improvements that create real value. You’ll collaborate with SMEs, business owners, vendors and delivery squads to define requirements, shape solutions, and support delivery through to rollout.
What's Involved:
- Develop a strong understanding of enterprise operating models and technology ecosystems to identify optimisation opportunities and define scalable integration solutions.
- Partner with senior leaders, SMEs, architects and vendors to translate strategic initiatives into prioritised epics, high-quality user stories and clear, testable requirements aligned to architecture and delivery standards.
- Lead scoping, impact and dependency analysis across complex systems, ensuring requirements are value-driven, feasible and traceable from business objectives through to implementation.
- Apply data-informed analysis to guide solution decisions, supporting build, integration and QA through proactive clarification, risk management and comprehensive scenario coverage.
- Drive alignment across business, engineering and architecture teams through active participation in planning, refinement, governance and stakeholder forums.
You bring strong experience analysing business processes and systems to deliver measurable improvements.
You communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels, demonstrate commercial awareness and prioritise effectively to achieve outcomes.
You thrive in fast-paced environments and take ownership from discovery through delivery.
You’ll need- Proven experience as a Business Analyst working across complex enterprise environments (ideally including supply chain, fulfilment, logistics or merchandise).
- Strong capability in navigating diverse technology platforms and integration landscapes to deliver aligned, outcome-focused solutions.
- Strong skills in eliciting, analysing and documenting business requirements, epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, partnering effectively with business leaders, Product Owners, SMEs and delivery teams.
- Experience across both Agile and Waterfall delivery, with strong skills in process, data flow and system analysis.
- Proficiency in Jira and Confluence, and experience running workshops and supporting SDLC, integration and testing activities.
- Strong organisational ability, managing multiple priorities, risks and dependencies.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and insights to guide decision‑making and deliver measurable value.
