Where the team fits in
This role is pivotal in shaping our strategic direction and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will focus on conducting early discovery work for potential Launchpad products and collaborating to perform thorough analyses for various initiatives and projects.
What the role is all about
Conduct detailed early-stage research and analysis on potential products before their inclusion in our portfolio
Identify market trends, consumer needs, and competitive landscapes to inform discovery efforts
Gather and synthesise qualitative and quantitative data from stakeholders and external sources
Collaborate with the Launchpad Executive Manager of Product to complete comprehensive as-is and to-be analysis for various projects and initiatives
Map and analyse current processes, workflows, and systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
Work with cross-functional teams to design optimal future-state products and solutions that align with strategic goals
Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
Engage and manage stakeholders to align around strategic initiatives
Elicit and synthesise functional and non-functional requirements using strong business analysis skills
Develop clear and actionable insights and recommendations to guide product development decisions and prioritisation
Who we’re looking for
Proven experience in business analysis, product discovery, or strategy development
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels
Strong operational hygiene when it comes to communicating progress, engaging with stakeholders, keeping work in flight updated in our task tracking tools (Jira, Powerpoint)
Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Familiarity with market research and competitive analysis techniques
Understanding of business process modeling and improvement methodologies would be advantageous
A critical thinking mindset that allows you to not have all the answers, but understand the various techniques to employ to get the right answers from the right people
A motivated, collaborative mindset that can take direction and run with it while actively checking in and providing early communications for blockers, risk and progress against programs of work
Good understanding of the product lifecycle, and how to accurately place a product or program of work within that lifecycle
