Join the DXC team and contribute to bringing DXC’s claims management expertise to the people of New South Wales.
With over 20 years’ experience in workers compensation claims management, a unique opportunity exists to join a new DXC team. DXC are currently partnering with a reputable Government Health Organsiation, setting up their Wokers' Compensation Department and would love you to join the team as a Business Analyst.
As a talented and energetic Business Analyst you will work with our People Leaders to develop and maintain reporting to assist in the business's daily operations and performance tracking. You will also create dashboard client reporting that provides analysis of their claims history and explore and develop process improvements within the team and across the Business.
Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee business process transactions, focusing on quality and efficiency.
- Analyze data, contribute to process improvements, and assist in reporting.
- Collaborate with senior analysts, managers, and other team members.
- Assist in identifying process bottlenecks and opportunities for enhancement.
- Ensure compliance with quality and procedural standards.
- Contribute insights for improving process performance.
- Analyze data trends and patterns to support decision-making.
- Assist in maintaining and updating process documentation.
To be successful
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within a similar role.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query
- Experience with Qlik and/or Sisense (similar such as Power BI, and Tableau also considered)
- Experience in extracting and transforming data.
- Experience automating across Microsoft applications using VBA.
- Effective time management and ability to work across multiple smaller projects.
- Strong ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to elicit requirements from stakeholders.
- Continuous improvement and innovative thinker
- Ability to understand claims; workers' comp industry experience preferred but not required.
