Job Description
About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Technology Analytics team. In this role, you'll deliver precise business analysis to the Technology Business Excellence Team, documenting requirements clearly, facilitating effective stakeholder communication, and identifying strategic process improvements
This role, whilst based in Technology, will be required to partner cross-functionally to engage with wider Seek teams to assess operational excellence initiatives, applying process mapping, ideation, and root cause analysis techniques to transform improvement ideas into executable projects. With your strong analytical skills and passion for process improvement, you'll champion data-led decision making across our technology organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through your meticulous attention to detail and ability to translate business needs into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish initiative scope, objectives, and deliverables, and contribute to validating requirements and gathering feedback throughout the lifecycle.
- Gather and document business requirements, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyse and prioritize requirements to define key objectives, scope, and dependencies, ensuring traceability and alignment with business value and objectives.
- Work with stakeholders in the development and documenting of current (as is) and future state (to-be) business processes to support business transformation initiatives.
- Participate in the change management processes to ensure smooth transition and adoption of new systems or processes.
- Identify and assess risks associated with initiatives.
Qualifications
Skills and experience
- Commercial experience in a Business Analyst role or equivalent.
- Commercial experience in conducting detailed business analysis and documenting complex requirements.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile, Lean, and hybrid methodologies with practical application experience.
- Experience managing iteration planning, backlog refinement, and tracking progress.
- Strong problem-solving skills for addressing and resolving issues in requirements and processes.
- Ability to propose innovative solutions and process improvements.
- Proficient in business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Miro) and business process modelling techniques and tools.
- Basic knowledge of project management principles and abilities in managing initiative tasks and timelines.
- Understanding of change management processes and ability to support change initiatives..
