Business Analyst - Fixed Term

Job Description:

Merkle is a leading data-driven Customer Experience Management (CXM) company that specializes in the delivery of unique, personalized customer experiences across platforms and devices.

We are now seeking a skilled Agile Business Analyst, with a strong CX focus and skillset to join us in a Fixed-Term, 6 Month Contract.

This is a high-impact digital transformation project requiring deep understanding of complex booking flows, secure payment integrations, and personalised customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Elicit, define, and document customer and business requirements for a premium travel and  hospitality booking site
• Collaborate across design, tech, and stakeholder teams to shape user journeys and functional specifications
• Translate requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and CX artefacts (e.g. journey maps, wireframes)
• Drive workshops and discovery sessions to align stakeholders on vision and delivery priorities
• Ensure alignment with legal/privacy, payment, and security standards across customer touchpoints

About You:

• Experience as a BA on luxury travel, hospitality, or high-end ecommerce platforms
• Strong understanding of online booking systems, payment gateways, loyalty or personalisation features
• Proven ability to balance CX thinking with technical feasibility and commercial objectives
• Agile delivery experience and fluency with tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro
• Confident communicator who can simplify complexity for diverse stakeholders
