We are looking for a Business Analyst & Developer (MS Power Platform) to join our Project and Development Services (PDS) Team. This role is integral to our business transformation, supporting the delivery of our services through custom technology solutions. You will work directly with our clients and internal teams to understand their needs, translate them into digital platform requirements, and develop those solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform.

Roles & Responsibilities
Requirements Definition and Management:
- Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document business needs.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and technical designs for Power Platform solutions.
- Elicit requirements using interviews, workshops, process analysis, and workflow analysis.
- Define acceptance criteria and ensure traceability of requirements throughout the development lifecycle.

Solution Development & Implementation:
- Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Pages, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Create user-friendly apps coded and deployed within Power Pages, and used to optimise business processes and enhance user experience.
- Build custom Power Pages portals using Liquid templating language, Web API integration, and responsive design principles (HTML/CSS/Bootstrap).
- Develop Power Platform solutions using Power Fx, JavaScript/TypeScript, and C# for custom plugins and Azure Functions integration.
- Design and implement robust data models within Dataverse, including tables, relationships, business rules, and security roles.
- Develop seamless integrations between Power Platform, Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, API Management), and third-party systems.
- Build and manage automated workflows with Power Automate to improve efficiency and data integrity.
- Develop insightful dashboards and reports with Power BI to support data-driven decision-making. Leverage Dataverse, custom connectors, and other platform components to build comprehensive solutions. Implement Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) best practices, including solution packaging, version control, and automated deployment pipelines. Manage multiple environments (Development, Test, Production) and orchestrate solution migrations.
Stakeholder Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary liaison between business users, clients, and technical teams. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
Consultancy and Continuous Improvement:
- Provide consultancy-like services to internal teams and clients, helping them understand the value and application of Power Platform solutions.
- Contribute to the successful adoption of new solutions by developing training materials and providing user support.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in the Power Platform, providing recommendations for improvements and innovation.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience developing solutions with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify business needs and translate them into effective digital solutions.
- Proficiency in Power Fx, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Liquid template language for extending Power Platform capability Strong understanding of data modeling, normalization, and relational database concepts.
