What’s on offer?
We are looking to fill the role of a permanent Business Analyst – Core and Australian Digital Workspaces (Intermediate) to be based in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide or Brisbane. Reporting to the Project Manager – Core and Project Manager – Australian Digital Workspaces, you will play a vital role in successfully delivering the core infrastructure build of our new modern information platform and the roll out of digital workspaces across our Australian Business.
What will you be responsible for?
Using your analysis expertise and by proactively working with stakeholders, you will partner with Modern Information Project Leads to ensure we are delivering what our business needs. You will often be the face of the projects, representing the programme on site with our business stakeholders. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Eliciting, validating, documenting, and communicating business problems and solution requirements.
- Designing and leading requirements workshops and mapping current state to future state.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, tailoring engagement as needed.
- Owning requirements throughout the project lifecycle, representing business stakeholders during development.
- Collaborating on, delivering, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
- Supporting change management and end users through delivery, go-live, and hypercare phases.
You must have the flexibility to travel within Australia.
How you’ll connect to the role?
To be successful in this role, you will bring at least 3 years of proven business analysis expertise, ideally within large or complex organisations, and a solid track record in delivering large IT projects. Your ability to engage and influence stakeholders, combined with strong communication and interpersonal skills, will help you navigate and build productive relationships across the business. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and clear documentation are essential, as is experience with platforms like SharePoint, AvePoint, and Jira. You will demonstrate agility and resilience in dynamic environments, identify and address risks proactively, and show high levels of emotional intelligence and integrity.
