Job Description

If you are a trade qualified Boilermaker with proven experience in a workshop environment, we are looking for someone like you to join our team. As part of our team of skilled boilermakers and welders, you'll be working in our workshops located in Northern Geelong.

In this role, you will be reporting to the workshop supervisor and responsible for interpreting workshop drawings to determine the required material, production method and sequence of operations needed to produce fabricated parts within our quality requirements. You will also be responsible for operating and maintaining measuring tools, power tools, and hand tools required to produce the fabricated parts.

Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication trade - Boilermaker (or equivalent)
  • Considerable experience in MIG welding
  • Experience with stainless steel is advantageous
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Skilled in operating equipment used in fabrication
  • Current and valid driver's license
  • Candidates with a forklift, dogman (DG) and/or high-risk work licenses are encouraged to apply
