The Account Manager is responsible for driving overall customer success aligned to the Cytiva strategy and goals, leveraging all of the Cytiva account team. They own the overall customer relationship across the account, and are the primary contact between the company and customers, They grow the business through an understanding of the market, an awareness and familiarity with the needs of customer, and knowledge of the product portfolio.

This position is part of the Bioprocess Sales team located in Australia & New Zealand, and will be fully remote based in Brisbane, QLD.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and drive business growth within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key stakeholders, including scientists, procurement, and senior management.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, within existing accounts and potential new clients, updating and maintaining in CRM system (salesforce.com).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, technical support, and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned from time to time.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales or account management role within the biopharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Understanding of a drug manufacturing process (monoclonal antibody).
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communicator, with ability to present technical solutions to customers.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Commercial experience in the life sciences industry.
  • Previous experience using Salesforce.
