We are looking for a passionate and analytical Billing Specialist to join our Billing team. As a Billing Specialist, your role is to accurately reconcile supplier costs against system information, and to ensure the quality and timeliness of billing to major and new business customers in the onboarding phase. Billing Specialists should identify and support resolution of discrepancies in supplier charges for efficiency gains and uphold quality of the function.
Requirements
As a Billing Specialist you are responsible for:
- Timely and accurate validation and reconciliation of carrier invoices & rates against contracts
- Managing major and new business customer portfolios and their invoicing requirements
- Collaborating with the Implementation team on invoicing post Go-Live date to ensure accurate billing and successful transition of new accounts to Billing Officers
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of invoices received and processed, allowing accurate and timely Billing runs every Friday
- Lodge claims with Carriers
- Issue resolution with long-term solution
- Reporting and analysis
- Proactive communication and follow up to efficiently resolve all discrepancy matters with all stakeholders, internal and external
- Support of the broader Billing function, upholding quality, coverage and information sharing
About you:
- MS Office (Intermediate – Advanced Excel)
- Proven ability to analyse and think critically to resolve issues
- Strong problem solving ability
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrate strong mathematical ability
- Billing experience
