We’re looking for a strategic, relationship‑driven Business Development Manager to help accelerate growth across our Security Branch business. If you thrive on building partnerships, shaping big opportunities, and influencing enterprise‑level outcomes - this role is for you.
Why This Role Matters
You’ll be the connector between End Users, Consultants, Major Contractors, Key Suppliers, and our internal teams - driving demand, shaping strategic opportunities, and growing our project pipeline. You will also play a pivotal role in leading the strategic direction, engagement, and performance of select national accounts, ensuring long‑term growth, alignment, and customer advocacy at an enterprise level.
Your ability to pinpoint opportunities, craft compelling value propositions, and lead high‑level engagement will directly impact our growth in the enterprise solutions space.
What You’ll Do
- National Account Leadership: Drive the strategic direction, engagement, and commercial outcomes of select national accounts to deepen relationships and maximise opportunity flow.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with Consultants, Contractors, and key Security suppliers to uncover and shape project opportunities.
- Pipeline Ownership: Lead the End User project pipeline — from lead generation through to opportunity conversion.
- Strategic Selling: Conduct prospect research, qualify opportunities, deliver presentations, and drive new business wins.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Category, Supplier Relations, and Technical teams to align strategies and execute.
- Value Proposition Creation: Develop tailored customer solutions, business cases, financial models, and strategic proposals.
- Reporting & Governance: Maintain CRM accuracy, prepare monthly reports, and support standardised data collection for partnerships and acquisition initiatives

What You Bring
- 4–5 years’ experience in Business Development, or a related commercially focused role
- Strong financial and analytical skills - modelling, analysis, valuation
- Ability to lead and manage medium to large‑scale initiatives
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder confidence at all levels
- Highly organised, adaptable, and capable of managing concurrent complex projects
- Strong problem‑solving skills and independence in driving outcomes
- Relevant experience in a technology distribution environment (highly regarded)
- Background in electronic security, electrical, electronics, ICT, or related technology fields (preferred)
