Manage business development center operations, process foreign exchange and remittance transactions, promote banking services, meet sales targets, assist customers, resolve complaints, build relationships, and support offsite branch operations. The role requires rotational shift work, potential relocation between branches, strong communication skills, and the ability to identify genuine, expired, and counterfeit currency notes.
Manage the day-to-day operations of BDC and to market consumer products, specifically foreign currency notes and remittance to customers
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all transactions in accordance with the Bank’s guidelines and policies.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Promote CIMB’s foreign exchange and remittance services.
- Assist customers with inquiries and banking needs.
- Handle customer issues, requests, and complaints professionally.
- Develop and maintain long‑term customer relationships.
- Support and manage offsite BDC operations when required.
Requirements
- Open to fresh graduates and diploma holders in any discipline.
- Strong communication and customer‑handling skills.
- Familiarity with currency exchange operations is an advantage.
- Ability to identify expired, genuine, and counterfeit currency notes.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts (7‑day roster) and relocate between BDC branches if required.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin or additional languages will be an added advantage.
- Friendly, proactive, and enthusiastic personality.
