We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Professional to join our IT operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and triaging the Backups board, creating and managing backup-related tickets using proper conventions, and executing client restoration and backup testing tasks.  

Requirements

What you'll be doing: 

  • Monitor and triage backup alerts and issues. 
  • Create and manage tickets following established ticketing conventions. 
  • Liaising with customers to keep them informed of issues within their environment 
  • Perform client data restorations and routine backup testing. 
  • Demonstrate expertise in Veeam, Azure or other backup technologies. 
  • Accurately log time entries against tickets using ConnectWise. 
  • Consistently live the values and demonstrate professional workplace behaviours that reflect the CT values.  
  • Performing work on servers and hypervisors to resolve backup issues 

What you'll bring: 

  • Previous experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. 
  • Basic knowledge and hands-on experience with backup solutions, especially Veeam. 
  • Familiarity with systems administration and virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes. 
  • Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail. 
  • Enjoys a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with change 
  • Ideally experience with ConnectWise for time tracking and Confluence for Documentation.
