Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to join our Microsoft Cloud team and help drive the delivery of secure, scalable, and automated cloud solutions for enterprise customers.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced DevOps professional who combines deep Azure expertise with strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) capabilities. You will work closely with architects, developers, security specialists, and platform teams to design, automate, and optimize cloud environments using modern DevOps practices and cloud-native technologies. The role is ideal for someone passionate about automation, continuous improvement, platform engineering, and cloud transformation initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design, build, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using Bicep and Terraform.
  • Automate Azure platform provisioning, deployment, and operational processes.
  • Support Azure Landing Zone implementations, governance controls, and platform engineering initiatives.
  • Implement security, compliance, testing, and quality gates throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Deploy and manage Azure services including networking, storage, identity, Key Vault, App Services, AKS, monitoring, and security services.
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable cloud solutions.
  • Troubleshoot deployment, automation, and infrastructure issues across enterprise Azure environments.
  • Drive continuous improvement through reusable templates, automation patterns, and engineering best practices.

Qualifications

  • Similar prior experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including YAML pipelines, repositories, release management, and automation.
  • Proven expertise in Terraform and Bicep.
  • Strong understanding of Azure networking, identity, governance, monitoring, and security services.
  • Experience implementing DevSecOps practices, security controls, and compliance requirements within delivery pipelines.
  • Proficiency with PowerShell, Azure CLI, or automation scripting.
  • Experience with Git workflows, branching strategies, code reviews, and collaborative development practices.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Azure Landing Zones and enterprise-scale Azure platform experience.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions and GitHub Advanced Security.
  • Knowledge of AKS, Docker, Helm, and containerized workloads.
  • Exposure to policy-as-code, security scanning, and compliance automation.
  • Experience with Azure Integration Services, including API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Event Grid.
  • Consulting, managed services, or large enterprise project experience
