About the role:We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer Consultant to join our team and support large-scale data processing and regulatory compliance initiatives.
This role is deeply technical, with a strong focus on designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that process significant volumes of customer and transaction data. You will work with modern data engineering technologies, including PySpark, Delta Lake, Databricks, and Apache Airflow, enabling the application of complex business rules for monitoring, detection, and data quality.
About you:To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
Several years of experience as a Data Engineer or Data Engineering Consultant
Strong hands-on experience with AWS, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake
Experience working in Databricks and distributed processing environments
Practical experience implementing job orchestration with Apache Airflow
Solid understanding of ETL/ELT principles, data modelling, and large-scale data processing
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and compliance-driven workflows
Strong problem-solving skills, communication, and attention to detail
Experience contributing to Agile ceremonies, solution design, and technical documentation
