As an Available Homes Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our homes are let efficiently, fairly, and to residents who can sustain successful tenancies. You’ll lead a high-performing regional team, driving operational excellence to reduce rent loss, improve turnaround times, and enhance the customer experience.
This is a key leadership role where you’ll work collaboratively across Clarion and with external partners to make sure every home we let contributes to Clarion’s long-term success and community impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
Leadership & Performance
- Lead, inspire and support a dispersed regional team to deliver excellent performance and meet key targets.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Use performance data and insight to identify and address any delays in the lettings process.
- Drive behavioral and cultural change to improve efficiency and customer outcomes.
Stakeholder & Partnership Management
- Act as the main regional contact for local authorities and other housing partners.
- Negotiate and manage nomination agreements to ensure efficient allocations and sustainable tenancies.
- Build strong internal relationships with Maintenance, Housing, and Development teams to ensure new homes are ready to let on time.
- Influence and hold partners to account for delivery, ensuring joint ownership of performance outcomes.
Strategic Delivery
- Collaborate with other Available Homes Managers to deliver a consistent, high-quality service across all regions.
- Contribute to policy and process reviews to drive improvements and efficiency.
- Ensure all activity complies with regulatory, statutory, and Clarion standards.
What You’ll Need
- Proven experience leading and motivating dispersed teams in a performance-driven environment.
- A strong track record of improving operational efficiency and achieving measurable outcomes.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills — confident when managing senior stakeholders.
- Analytical and solutions-focused, with the ability to translate insight into action.
