POSITION AND DUTIES 

In your capacity, you will perform duties and responsibilities that are commensurate with your position and such other duties as may be assigned to you from time to time and will report directly to the Regional Director, Australia, and New Zealand. 


ROLE OVERVIEW 

The Australian Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for the commercial development, sales, and growth of the Vytelle portfolio of products in Southern Australia. Responsibilities include demand creation, managing and developing satellites, on-farm customers and overall relationship management. Additional responsibilities include market opportunity identification, quantification, and prioritisation. Included in this role is administration assistance with the Vytelle lab team in Australia. Critical relationships to this role include: Vytelle Australia Operations Team, Australia Customer Service Manager, NZ Sales Manager along with cross-functional collaboration throughout Vytelle teams. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  1. Southern Australia demand creation, strategic account management, customer support and achieving revenue and donor targets for Vytelle technology with focus on Vytelle ADVANCE (IVF) in Australia 
  2. Complete quotes, contracts and agreements with clients 
  3.  Support and coordinate as needed with the Customer Service team regarding Vytelle Australia Lab management and administrative activities (reports, invoices, etc.). Ownership of Vytelle ADVANCE logistics, planning, calendar and customer communication in conjunction with the lab team as related to Southern Australian customers 
  4. Market Development, expansion, and relationship management of Vytelle ecosystem partners including implant technicians, IVF access points, donor and recipient farms and key industry organisations 
  5. Use of Vytelle tools, content, and value messaging to support sales and customer success 
  6. Market Analysis, tracking and quantification of market size, opportunities, and competitive landscape. 
  7. Develop, maintain, and report on critical scorecard metrics for internal use and partner performance and goal setting 
  8. Local representation and industry events, speaking to build Vytelle brand in Australia 
  9. Use of HubSpot CRM to track and manage lead funnel and account information 

90 DAY DELIVERABLES: 

Onboarding 

  • Understand Vytelle ADVANCE IVF technology  lab, OPU, Process, logistics, matings 
  • Complete key meetings onboarding plan as outlined with key people 
  • Vytelle tools training – train and have functional familiarity with vytelle.io, PowerBI and HubSpot 
  • Meet and review business plans with existing strategic accounts: Vytelle satellite partners and large on-farm customers 
  • Meet and review business plans with access points 


Demand Creation 

  • Review existing leads and pipeline for prioritisation and action 
  • Review Satellite locations and identify target areas for expansion and short list candidates 

Customer Focus 

  1. Dairy Segment: establish and nurture critical relationships in the dairy segment providing recommendations on strategy and tactics for Vytelle leadership 
  2. Southern NSW Beef Breeder Stud Breeder targets: Angus Wagyu 
  3. Stakeholder management: connect and establish role recognition with Holstein Association, Angus Association, Wagyu Association

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES 

  • Ability to understand, quantify and prioritise market dynamics, opportunities, and barriers to prioritize commercial targets 
  • Hunt, network, develop lead generation tools and close 
  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate, motivate, and manage key stakeholders and suppliers 
  • First-Class communicator and presenter utilising all the latest technologies 

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Tertiary qualifications in agriculture, agribusiness or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in creating business to business partnerships
  • Established relationships in the Dairy Sector
  • Willingness to travel ~40-50%
  • Knowledge & experience of marketing technical products and services for bovine sector in Southern Australia  with existing relationships 
  • Minimum 5 years of client facing experience across the agriculture or animal health sector
