Type: 12 month fixed term contract (full time)

We are looking for an Associate Principal to join the Integrated Research Solutions team, one of Australia’s leading and largest healthcare market research providers. The Associate Principal plays a critical role as key point of contact for designated key client accounts, responsible for designing and executing bespoke research programs and ensuring excellence in delivery, and connecting with IQVIA subject matter leads to bring the best of our collective capability to clients.

Essential functions:

  • Design, sell and deliver bespoke market research programs drawing on IQVIA’s primary and secondary research capabilities
  • Manage project teams including both internal and external resources in the design, development and delivery of client deliverables
  • Develop strategic insights and actionable recommendations
  • Serve as key point of contact and develop relationships with designated clients
  • Leverage business experience and acumen to identify innovative solutions to client questions
  • Work across the IQVIA organisation to bring together best in class solutions
  • Serve as coach/ mentor for junior to mid-level research consultants. Share subject matter expertise with others to elevate capability
  • Contribute to driving operational and process efficiencies
  • Contribute to broader team initiatives on critical people-related issues such as recruitment, learning and development.

Qualifications and required skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (required)
  • 8+ years professional experience in market research and insights, consulting, pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with evidence of career progression
  • Demonstrated end-to-end market research program design and delivery experience.
  • Expertise in diverse market research methodologies. Dualist qualitative/ quantitative research skills preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of the life sciences and/or consumer health industries
  • Established client network and vendor/ partner network advantageous
  • Proven analytical, interpretative and problem-solving skills
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Permanent working/resident rights in Australia (PR or Citizen).
