About the role:

This position is an opportunity to be part of a team in the Nintex Experience group, responsible for building and shipping Nintex Forms capability. The team works on a mono-repo involving large scale front-end development using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, SASS, and web components (React) and some evolving GAI technology. We are looking for someone who has some work experience under their belt and is ready to take their skills and career to the next level. We have a focus on workplace culture and innovation, and we want the best people in the industry as part of our team. Nintex Forms is a mature product with an existing user base but we’re starting a journey towards the next generation of Forms powered by AI.   

Your contribution will be:

• Write clear, correct, and well-structured code that aligns with Nintex coding standards and guidelines, ensuring readability and maintainability.
• Collaborate in the design and development of new products and features, contributing ideas and technical input.
• Actively participate in team ceremonies and meetings, including daily scrums, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives, providing meaningful contributions.
• Offer constructive and actionable technical feedback during code reviews and pull requests to maintain high code quality across the team.
• Communicate progress regularly to the team and Engineering manager, and seek support or clarification when needed to stay aligned with project goals.
• Proactively enhance test coverage and documentation for existing codebases, including writing unit and automation tests where applicable.
• Conduct thorough testing of your own work to ensure functionality, performance, and stability.
• Take ownership of quality, including identifying, investigating, and fixing defects in a timely manner.
• Contribute innovative ideas and focus on continuous improvement, helping to drive team and product excellence.

To be successful, we think you need:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS frameworks (e.g., SASS)
• Hands-on experience in large-scale web development, with a focus on building modular, testable, maintainable, and extensible user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Good understanding of software architecture principles, patterns, and best practices
• Some exposure to API development, ideally working on scalable and resilient backend systems using Node.js frameworks
• Experience in building modern cloud-based applications.
• Agile mindset, with familiarity in agile methodologies, including code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD processes
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills, able to collaborate effectively across teams to achieve goals
• Proactive in taking ownership of features, driving them from conception through development to delivery
• Passionate about technology, always eager to learn and adapt to evolving tech trends and tools
